Habits that Haunt: Overindulging at the Thanksgiving Table

From coast to coast Thanksgiving tables are filled with secret family recipes and new twists on old favorites, but they’re also filled with something else: foods with a high glycemic index which have been linked to accelerated skin aging and acne. Adding insult to injury, new studies reveal the addictive nature of sugar, making it the latest no-no.

This month, keep in mind that Thanksgiving often acts as the gateway to holiday overeating and overall overindulgence, so be mindful and keep your splurging to Thursday only. Come Friday, reset and get back on track.
