Myth Busters

Myth: The longer you use a specific skincare product the slower the results

You used to need one cup of coffee to get up and go and now you need two? Yes, indeed and soon you’ll need three because your body can acclimate to caffeine over time.

But when it comes to skincare, this is just not true. So don’t buy into the myth. Consistent and continuous use of the right regimen for you is the best thing you can do to keep your skin looking its best. And remember, if your skin looks clear, it’s because the products are working.

I have people asking me if our products have a shelf life. How long will it last if not used for a while?

Prior to opening, the shelf life for products is approximately two years from the date of manufacture, provided they are not exposed to extremes of temperature or light, such as storing them in front of a window. Our facilities are climate-controlled, so product stored there is protected from temperature extremes.

You may determine the shelf-life of a product by reading the manufacturing code as described below:
First character is the batch: A or B
Second character is the month: 1-9 reflects January through September. A-C is October through December.
Third character is the year: 9 would indicate 2009

All of our products undergo rigorous stability testing to ensure their efficacy and quality. Products at our online distribution center are replenished on a monthly basis. In your home, do not expose the products to extreme temperatures or light and use the products as directed to achieve guaranteed results.
